The Creamiest Milk in the Fraser Valley

What’s different about our milk - aside from the fact it’s available directly from our farm through our innovative milk dispenser?

Regular grocery store milk and cream is typically sold in these fat percentages:
SKIM: all fat removed from milk (0% fat)
PARTLY SKIMMED: some fat removed (2% fat)
HOMOGENIZED: “full fat milk” (3.25 or 3.5% fat)
LIGHT CREAM: milk + heavy cream (5% fat)
HALF AND HALF CREAM: 10% fat
COFFEE CREAM: 18% fat
HEAVY/WHIPPING CREAM: 34-36% fat

Creekside Milk? It falls somewhere in between milk and light cream. So basically you’re getting a two for one deal: milk for your daily needs PLUS it can do double duty as your coffee creamer. Win win!

How do our cows produce such creamy milk? Milk naturally contains several nutrients: fat, protein, lactose, vitamins, and minerals. The amount of butterfat and protein in the milk is usually a product of cow breed, nutrition, and season of the year. Jerseys typically produce the highest butterfat, Holsteins (the black and white cows) usually produce significantly less fat. We milk Brown Swiss cows on our farm and they fall somewhere in between. Currently, our herd butterfat average is at 4.65% with a protein average at 3.67%. This is done on a very simple diet of alfalfa hay, grass silage, ground peas, and ground barley. No additives to boost butterfat or protein. Just good, wholesome, natural feeds.

Pure, whole milk. No goodness removed, and zero additives. Want to try this amazingly creamy and satisfying milk yourself? Our milk is available “on tap” via our self serve milk dispenser. Bring your own bottle or purchase one from us, fill it up, and ENJOY!!
